ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR:
Arthur Shilstone, one of America's foremost watercolorists, began painting for Life magazine after World War II and assignments from publications including Smithsonian, National Geographic, Gourmet, and Sports Illustrated followed. Just over a decade ago Mr. Shilstone began painting fly fishing scenes for his own enjoyment. His work appeared in a recent book, Flashes in the River.
