Lower Sac Fishing Reports 3/23/2014

3/23/14- Lower Sac

The Lower Sac continues to fish very well. Wind can make things tough but try  not to give up if you work for it you can still have a good day. The star of the show is definitely the PMD followed by other mayfly patterns and the
rubber legs. The river has been crowded lately its no secret the river is fishing well right now, but it doesn't take long for everyone to spread out and find water to fish. The hot time for me has been right around noon for the next few hours the go on a serious bite. The riffles and tailouts fished a little better than the flats did. There is a hatch of small caddis in the evening for those willing to stay out until dark.
This is some of the best fishing of the year for the Lower Sac. If you want to catch a bunch of big fish before the HOT weather comes NOW IS THE TIME !!!!!
